What’s the connection between aliens and cultures that practiced human sacrifice – and why do “aliens” seem to love human sacrifice? That’s right – I want to know why aliens have such a love for the sacrificial death of humans. The answer is (more-or-less) given in the short video below, if you have some basic spiritual understanding.
The video contains part of former New-Ager Steven Bancarz’ amazing testimony. He speaks about the connection between “aliens” and human sacrifice at around the 17-minute mark.
If you want to ponder the whole concept of aliens, I suggest you watch/listen to what Steve says. And then try to find out the following…:
Which cultures have myths and stories about visits from “gods” (what we might call “aliens”)?
In those cultures, what was some of their most sacred and popular symbology?
In those cultures, what religious or ceremonial practices did the perform – and who told them to do those practices?
Were those cultures advanced and civilized, or barbaric and violent? (i.e. would you want to have lived in the heart of the Aztec empire? If not, why not?)
When, if ever, did enlightenment arrive in those cultures? How and when did it arrive?
Were any of those cultures based on love and forgiveness?
If you think and compare what is happening today and what happened then, you will see some significant details that are unlikely to be coincidental. Many puzzle pieces fit together perfectly, and it all supports my own hypothesis of what “aliens” really are. (Yes, I believe things exist that many people refer to as “aliens”…but I don’t think they’re creatures as depicted in E.T. or other films!)
You can see Ryan Ries’ full interview with Steve Bancarz here:
Government DUMBs: Deep Underground Military Bases
If you’ve ever thought of this as a “conspiracy theory”, you should re-evaluate the idea of underground bases. Maybe in the past they were the stuff of fantasy, but in 2018 the government (or other organization) having an underground facility is not so far-fetched. Besides the previous link, keep in mind that Elon Musk owns a very real company called The Boring Company – and it’s anything but “boring”! Besides making some of the best personal flamethrowers around, the company also is a pioneer in underground tunnel-boring.
(Why do I mention DUMBs here – on a blog that deals with prophecy and UFOs? DUMBs are connected with classified government projects (as are UFOs).)
This is our problem:
Raise an AI on a steady diet of Reddit, and what do you get? You get a psychopath AI, fascinated with human death. This demonstrates that an AI is created, and is made in the image of it’s creator – or made in the image it’s creator wishes it to have. In the event that the world ever is ruled by AI, it causes one to wonder: who programmed the AI, for what agenda, and with what influences?
AI Robots That Sound Human Would you have any idea you were speaking with a computer?
“Google…broke a new barrier in artificial intelligence technology…unveiled a voice assistant that sounds exactly like a human voice….Google Duplex, which allows the Assistant to speak with human-like cadence and includes artificial intelligence that is able to comprehend context and unclear answers.” Google “…demonstrated Duplex’s ability by having Assistant make reservations with a restaurant and a hair salon in two recorded phone calls. The receivers of the calls seemed to have no idea they were speaking to an AI voice.”
I wonder what other uses this might have?
You can hear it at this link if you play the short video. I have to say, it’s pretty amazing what humans can invent. This AI even has typical modern soyboy voice inflections!
Sign of the (End) Times: Look to the Mountains
The world’s wealthy “elite” are hiding their (digital) gold in mountains. Reminds me of a couple of Bible verses – Isaiah 2:19 and Revelation 6:16, both of which deal with the “end times”.
The Official Search for Extraterrestrials – Using AI
Isn’t the resurgence of UFOs and the increasing prevalence of AI an interesting thing? The connection is not coincidental or inconsequential. One day, “they” hope to have an AI “discover” “aliens”. (Quotation marks intentional.) See here and here.
I like The Daily Crow’s one-line comment on this: “UFO hunt: US Congress proposes $10million fund to find aliens with Artificial Intelligence. Use the ghosts in the machine to find the demons masquerading as extraterrestrials. Professing to be wise they became fools.”
MORE Official UFO Sightings
Since I’ve begun writing about the “official” sightings appearing in the world’s major news media, it hasn’t slowed down at all. Here’s another article.
Robots Can Grow Human Organs
In case you thought it was totally preposterous to think that a robot could have a human baby (as predicted by Dr. David Levy), a breakthrough has occurred that points us in precisely that direction: Robots Can Now Grow Human Organs
(And you thought my article on The Coming Kingdom of the Replacements sounded crazy. Well, it does sound crazy. It IS crazy. But apparently the “hybrid kids” I wrote about are also possible.)
Third Temple Predictive Photo
There WILL be a Third Temple in Jerusalem. It’s been written. And the Bible has never been wrong. But it’s also been visually predicted – this time in an artificial photo showing what it could look like. The significant part of this is it was given in a semi-official capacity as a gift, and that the idea is obviously on the minds of Israelis.
Sex and the City Regrets
A bit off-topic for this site, but an interesting sign of our times. More proof that feminism is a destructive, malevolent lie that ruins the lives of women. (To put it mildly.) Article here.
One quote from the article gives the gist of it: “The fact that the women of Sex and the City ultimately want to settle down is not the unrealistic lie the show sold these women. The lie is that they can settle down after spending their 20s and 30s sleeping around.”
Yes – because what man would want to marry someone who’s been used up during the best years of their life? (No one in their right mind, if they have any options at all.) This is why I’ve been saying for a few years now that, to some degree, I’ve seen that traditionalism is making a comeback. People (at least, some people) can see through the lies of “progressivism” (which is really regressivism) and its associated behaviors.
I’ve written many times about the coming anti-Christ, and how technology will play an important part in his rule over the current world system. I view the Bible as 100% accurate, and I think it should be believed. I see no contradiction between the Bible and our current reality. In fact, I see our current reality as verification of everything the Bible told us was coming.
There are a great many people who don’t share my view. I get that.
Most people, I would guess, are either totally unaware of what the Bible lays out, or have been misinformed about what the Bible actually says. These people could be classified as “ignorant of the Bible”. That’s not an insult; it’s just a assessment describing how all people start out – with any subject. (Until you know the facts about something, you’re ignorant of those facts.)
Fewer people are in another class: they are aware of what the Bible actually says, but choose to disregard it. They intentionally refuse to believe. These people are informed (not ignorant).
Far fewer people know what the Bible actually says (having read and understood), and believe it. To these people, my previous articles probably make sense.
Why? Does it have to do with understanding technological concepts? Not at all. The biggest factor, when dealing with Biblical subjects, is spiritual understanding. Believers have it; unbelievers struggle with it.
The Bible even mentions this phenomenon. “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (1 Corinthians 2:14 ). The “natural”, earthly, unsaved world citizen just can’t get it. When they look at an obvious and clear spiritual truth (to a Christian), they see a dim, cloudy haze.
For that reason, I expect the simple things I’ve been pointing out to sail right over the world’s collective heads. And I expect all awakened children of God to immediately (independently) see these same things with bright clarity (as many of you already have pointed out to me).
With that in mind, I’d like to point out two additional things that have appeared on the horizon concerning the coming anti-Christ. Specifically, these are ways in which he will imitate the Lord – using technology, most likely. These are two steps towards an AI techno-deity – an AI god.
Knowing Your Thoughts
In at least six verses, the Bible tells us that Jesus knew what other humans were thinking. It’s plain from passages such as Luke 7:40 that he could read the inward thoughts of other people. The New Testament also tells us that the Lord “knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain”. We learn that the Word of God is a “discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”.
God can read your mind. So it follows that the coming “anti-God” should be able to do so, as well, because he is a thief (John 10:10), a counterfeiter, and an imitator. He wants to replace the image of God (i.e. mankind) and wants to BE God. (He won’t succeed.)
But, you might say, “only God has the ability to read our thoughts”! Right: I agree. To be clear, I don’t think the devil has the ability to read minds now, nor will he actually have it in the future. Neither will the devil’s anti-Christ. That innate power is something only God can do.
However, as with some of the other imitated attributes of God that the anti-Christ will possess, he will be able to get close enough. I think that with the aid of technology, he will have “pseudo” mind-reading abilities. At the very least, the semblance of mind-reading will be enough to fool the vast majority of people. He will be able to do it via AI and possible other means – all technological. I know this, because it’s already been done.
Objections to my point of view could be anything from “that’s not real mind-reading” to “it will never be used for evil purposes”. Someone might think “they’ll never develop the technology any further”. Maybe. But we can all agree that in recent years, technology has undergone some “mind-blowing” changes.
But in my view, this will probably become more refined until it’s quite accurate. And from what seen with other technologies, I bet it’s development goes further than imagined and gets used in ways not intended. Besides, the public is never shown the latest version of anything in press releases or news reports.
Remember the following things about the false Christ…
He will appear as a man of peace, and people will think he is the Christ
He will do great signs and wonders, which will have the effect of fooling people
He will imitate the abilities of Jesus on earth
Make no mistake: people will welcome, adore, and worship the anti-Christ. They will love him. He will bring peace and do good. If you speak against him, people will look at you like you’re nuts. He’s going to be an imitator of Jesus in many ways, possibly including AI-enhanced mind-reading, and will dazzle the world so much that even the now-secular nation of Israel will think the Messiah has finally arrived.
At first. So…don’t be fooled.
Requiring Faith in His Followers
The second recent characteristic that I’ve realized the anti-Christ will require, in a roundabout way, is real faith in him. He will demand faith from people in many ways. The world will have to trust him, rely on him, listen to him, put their hope in him.(i.e. All the things people should do for and with Jesus.)
While it should be obvious to anyone familiar with the Bible that followers of the anti-Christ will put faith in him, there’s one particular new item that triggered a new perspective on this (for me). It was the revelation that some of the latest AI is incomprehensible, even to its creators.
In other words, the people who made the AI don’t even know how it does what it does!
I’ve mentioned this before, because it’s happened before with the Facebook chatbots. (Supposedly, the AI chatbots developed their own “language” that was undecipherable to humans and began communicating with each other.) I’ve also read similar sentiments expressed in other news items about AI. But for some reason this article piqued my interest even more: The Dark Secret At the Heart of AI.
Basically, engineers created an AI-powered self-driving car. It performs well – just like a human. But they have no clue how the AI trained itself, and they have no way to “ask” it. It works, but they can’t explain how. They just have to trust it.
They just have to put their faith in the AI.
And this isn’t stopping researchers from moving forward. “There is now hope that the same techniques will be able to diagnose deadly diseases, make million-dollar trading decisions, and do countless other things to transform whole industries.” You might ask, “what’s the big deal”? If it works, it works. Who cares how it works?
Imagine if this sort of mysterious, dark AI goes on to bigger things. Right now, we will place our “faith” in a driverless car or some other machine. But soon, AI will be used for more serious things. In the future, an AI judge may decide sentencing for someone convicted of a crime. Or an AI medical tribunal will decide who receives medical treatment or who is denied. Or an AI politician will come into power. You can see the ramifications.
Biblically speaking, this is just what will happen if indeed the image of the beast will be a type of AI. (For the record, I believe the beast himself will be a person; the image of the beast could however be some sort of AI-empowered robot.)
I believe we are witnessing just two of the next steps towards an AI god.
What do you think? Will the antichrist or the image of the beast be able to read minds? Are people even now being conditioned to place faith in AIs? Comment below.
It’s been a while since I’ve posted a news round-up or a feature article. But I have a good reason: I’ve been completing the final draft of my novel, Alien Outpost. I know you’d rather read a fictional adventure novel full of advanced technology, secret government projects, a deep underground military base, UFOs, lots of guns, survivalism, brain-washed zombies, evil scientists, soldiers, and of course aliens (or are they?). All set in Texas, USA after America splits up. There’s something for everyone in this book!
I’ll be posting a sneak peek very soon, but be SURE to sign up for my mailing list. I promise, I RARELY send out emails and will never spam you. This list is for announcing new feature articles and I will send out an alert when the book is released for Kindle. That’s it. Promise.
Now…you’ve been so patient, so here’s the latest edition of the round-up.
A Robot In Every Home
Amazon wants to deliver a robot to your home. You can count on it: people will sacrifice their privacy for freedom…as well as status, novelty and convenience. What other reason is there to have a robot in your home? Can you think of one good reason that the average person needs another pair of eyes and ears watching and listening? Most people will not need a reason, because they don’t think. Be different. Look at the big picture, friends.
The Atheist Double-Whammy: Foolish…AND Ugly?
The author George Orwell said that by a certain age “everyone has the face they deserve”. Perhaps he was completely correct.
I said that atheists are foolish (just agreeing with God and repeating what the ancient king David said), but this guy puts a spin on atheism I never considered: “You may recall that I was among the first to observe that atheists are neurologically atypical and that atheism is essentially a particular characteristic of being on the autism spectrum.”
From comments: “As far as physiognomy goes, to a certain extent our souls shape our bodies. As we age, the nature of ourselves is more and more reflected in our appearance. Thus the ugliness of evil is displayed fully upon the body.” George Soros is proof of this.
Maybe physiognomy hasn’t ben validated as “science”, but that doesn’t mean it’s not true (or useful). (And in this age of scientism, we tend to think that something that is non-scientific is somehow “bad” – to our own possible detriment.) Again, from the comments: “Heuristic- a quick rule of thumb, that isn’t always correct but is correct enough of the time to be useful.”
So, if it is true…how to explain it? Here’s a possibility: “There is the idea that you become what you worship. Whatever is most important to you in your life becomes your idol. Now, while some people may be predisposed to certain character traits from birth, these character traits can also be developed after birth…Certain activities, thoughts, obsessions will change a person overtime.”
Another wise comment: “So in essence, a person can traumatize themselves. That’s why the Bible commands us not to entertain sin. By engaging uncertain sins, we are in a sense rewriting our brains and that internal change will eventually manifest itself through our physical appearance as well. That’s why sin is sin, you cannot sin without it affecting you and those around you. It’s like being exposed to radiation.”
The Devil’s Technological Plan
Most of the articles and news round-ups I’ve written deal with the over-arching theme of technology and how it relates to prophecy. The two things (i.e. technology and the antichrist) go hand-in-hand these days. For a person to not be able to see this, they are truly (spiritually) blind. It’s not only obvious, but in recent years it’s become blatant.
So, what’s the devil’s plan? In a sentence, his plan is: to use technology to it’s fullest potential for his purposes.
What is that? Not to cure disease. Not to enlighten darkened minds. Not to empower the weak or to motivate the lazy. Not to invigorate producers of things.
It is to attack God and his creation. Especially the part of the creation that reflects God. In other words, people. Humans. The created beings who show the image of God. You are the target of his attacks, and now in 2018 it’s being done at the meta-level.
“…Hell Laboratories have in recent years created what philosophers call a meta-level: the Internet, to give it its true name. Now, whatever poor mortals seek, they seek through their computers, phones, and the Internet, which is to say me. So powerful is this tool, whereby the image displaces the Word, there can be no escape. Conditioning through images and, soon, through HL’s latest brilliant stroke, genetic engineering, will destroy human free will altogether. And that will be my final victory, for it will mean that when the Enemy returns to Earth, there will be no creatures made in His own image there to meet him, at least not among the living.” – from His Majesty’s Birthday
I have indeed been seeing UFOs in the news lately, but honestly it’s a bit tiresome to re-post similar articles over and over. I don’t want to do it. Instead, I’m working on writing a feature article to explore what the truth is about aliens and UFOs. If you’ve read any of my past writings, you’ll know I am not a believer in UFOs in the sense that people are seeing flying saucers from outer space. But a very real phenomenon is occurring. That is the one thing I agree with the physicists such as Michio Kaku and world governments and military.
I have to give Michio Kaku some credit in the above video. He says “new laws of physics” open up. I agree, and in more “Bible vernacular” I would call them spiritual phenomenon or spiritual manifestations. We may just be seeing the same things from different angles.
The most celebrated movie of the year – The Shape of Water – is given an eye-opening analysis in this study on Beginning and End. Did you realize the connection with Genesis 6 and the creature in this movie? Whether a devil is called a “god”, a “saint”, an idol, a “ghost”, an “alien”, or even a monster – it doesn’t care so much what label you give it, as long as you give it worship.
If you’ve doubted the seriousness of an impending “social score” because you thought, “I live in America where it will never happen”, read this: When ALL Gun Owners Are Shunned. This guy gets it. Even if the USA doesn’t implement an official or quasi-official “social media score” (like in China), you may end up having a de facto social score in practice.
You’re living in a time when everything is being turned upside-down.
Thomas Jefferson’s UFO Sighting
President and father of our country Thomas Jefferson once saw a UFO. He didn’t call it that, of course, but his sighting of strange aerial phenomenon would certainly fit right in to the current trend of sightings. Read about it here.
When you log into a social network such as FaceBook, you are entering a brain laboratory. You are the experimental subject.
“the next generation of fake news would be far more sophisticated thanks to AI.”
“Facebook’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, suggested that the company would use AI to spot fake news. According to Gourley, AI could be used in the service of the opposite goal as well.”
An AI President
In my article on the Coming AI Gods, I mentioned the possibility of one day having an AI-enhanced ruler. I posit that perhaps the image of the beast will be such an entity. And one day people will call out for it. They’ll desire an AI to rule over them as much as they should desire Jesus Christ to rule over them. Why? Because “their foolish hearts are darkened”.
The numerous deceived masses would literally rather worship a thing they created – a computer simulation of a god, made of earthly elements – than the One Who created it all. They’d rather worship an idol of their own making than worship the real God of the Universe!
An artificially-intelligent humanoid robot (an android), could be given almost all the characteristics (actually, imitations of the characteristics) of the Creator God. If that were so, it could effectively “replace” the Messiah. This is what is called “antiChrist”. One of the things only God could do – up until now – is to know your thoughts. Well, AI mind-reading technology is here to change all that. Welcome to the dystopian future: we’ve sure worked hard to get here.
I’ve long held to the belief that the best Bible in English is the KJV. I’ve read through it a few times, and will continue to do so. I don’t plan on picking up a modern version any time soon.
That’s not to say I’m antagonistic towards people who don’t believe the same way I do. I go to church with people who don’t read it. I listen to sermons preached from other versions. I get it: not everyone likes the KJV, or thinks it’s the best, or even thinks it’s accurate. That’s fine if people want to read other versions. I really don’t make an issue of it (and don’t care to, at all).
But I am convinced that it’s the best Bible you can read. (And easiest to memorize.) If you have a dictionary, a concordance, and a KJV – and you actually readit – you have all you need to be able to study God’s word. You can learn and grow spiritually from it as countless others have, and I think there are less impediments along the way when compared to, say, the NIV.
(But that’s just me. I’m just some guy – a nobody out of nowhere – and I am not an authority. I just know what works for me.)
However, I did find an interesting article about the KJV recently – Why You Should Read the Authorized (King James) Version?. The article is worth reading. I think the pastor who wrote the article makes some excellent points in favor of the KJV. He gives a few scholarly and practical reasons for reading the KJV which are worth considering.
One thing I’ve said for a long time – which I was happy to see in this article – is reference to the venerable word “ya’ll” and it’s equivalent in the KJV. (This guy gets it!) It might seem like a minor point, but it’s one I’ve never seen anyone else bring up. And understanding the difference forms of “you” can make a difference in the meaning of a verse. (No other English Bible allows for this distinction in its language, to my knowledge.)
Key Quote: “The bottom line: J. Edgar Hoover and Joseph McCarthy had it right…100% right.” Yes, I agree with that statement. They did, and they were mocked then and now. But they have been proven accurate. Where and how does this play into the world’s future, and Bible prophecy? This quote should give you a huge hint: “The aim of these Communists is to have one world government.” (Where’d I see that before? Oh yeah: the books of Daniel and Revelation.)
Sorry, but it’s just irrational to not see evidence of creation. You literally can’t escape it.
Are UFO Sightings Going Mainstream?
It seems like mainstream news outlets have been reporting more and more on UFOs lately. And by reporting – I mean more serious examination of the phenomenon, instead of the usual lighthearted joking about “little green men” we used to hear about. These days, the reports have a more serious tone and the UFOs sightings are usually in an official (i.e. military, scientific) context. Here’s the latest example of a UFO sighting on video. Look for more of this in 2018.
Suspended human animation – also called stasis, can be useful for many military applications. I write about this in my upcoming novel Alien Outpost. (Sign up for my mailing list to hear about it when I release it.) I’m not the first to have thought of the idea of suspended animation of humans, of course. The movie Alien has an example of it, and the movie Interstellar has it as well for purposes of space travel.
Whether you are a conservative or a liberal, you should be aware that this is not good. (And that’s an understatement.) Ever wonder why you never hear about any liberal media being censored?
DIY Genetic Engineering Is About to Explode
When you realize the capabilities we have or have easy access to, you have to be amazed. Watch a movie from the 1960s, and compare life back then to life now. The differences in many aspects of everyday life are vast, stark, and monumental. And that would be looking back only 50-60 years. (That’s NOT a lot of time in actuality.) Even science-fiction from up until fairly recently would have a hard time selling the concept of DIY genetic engineering – but here it is.
As far as we know, from creation until the 1800’s technological development was (mostly) on a straight line. Then things started to uptick slightly. In the early 20th century, there was a small spike. In the mid-20th century, we had a monumental uptick in our level of tech. Now, in 2018, to compare just the last 50-60 years to most of human history shows a severe difference. Why is that? There at least one specific hint in the Bible, and it’s found in Daniel 12:4.
Virtual Robot Waifu (William Gibson’s Fiction is Coming True)
I’ve read a lot of William Gibson’s sci-fi. Neuromancer was one of my favorite novels as a teenager. It was fun entertainment, and it was interesting because it predicted a gritty yet technologically-advanced future.
Now, that future is here. Who knew it could be so…pitiful? Watch the video below, showing the Gatebox virtual home robot (wife):
Yeah…no thanks. It’s kinda cool, but also the saddest thing I’ve seen in a while! Incel losers will have even more reasons to stay inside now. It’s yet another example of a REPLACEMENT, and if I had to choose which “kingdom” this would be from…it wouldn’t be God’s. (God is the one who implemented marriage between a man and a woman, remember.)
The general public does not ever see the very latest developments in technology.
In less than a decade, whatever state this technology is currently in will be many times better.
The End Result of Social Media
In one word: control. Put another way: censorship. Put in more stark and practical terminology: punishing people for how they think because it’s not acceptable to the people in charge. This is the end result of social media. A persistent online presence is what allows this to happen. Remember the social media score I’ve written about many times? This is why it exists. Sure, it’s useful for preventing crime. But it accomplishes this by preventing free expression of thought and clamping down (hard) on all behavior.
If you think about it, social media is the enemy of freedom.
Key quotes that stood out to me from this article:
“a vibrant, borderless Europe”
“I fear for the future of Europe.”
“It’s denial. Swedes are very good people and they want to change the world. They want the rest of the world to be like Sweden. And the reality is that it’s completely different.”
Sadly, reality hits hard when you run into it – or when it slams into you.
If you read my post on Satan’s “replacements”, you might remember the crazy concept of “hybrid kids“. (Yes, I acknowledged that it sounded absolutely nuts – but the idea came from a recognized “authority”. What do I know?) The concept of human-computer (or more specifically, human-robot) hybrid kids was also just mentioned by someone totally unconnected with the study of AI. This time, cartoonist Scott Adams posted about it. He asks if computers and humans can have babies – and outlines how he thinks it may be possible. It was interesting to see the idea mentioned again, no matter how unlikely it may actually be.
The Reality of Living Under Islamism
This article – History Lessons From Years Under Islamism
– was sobering and full of pithy, though-provoking realities. In our present world of Justin Trudeau touchy-feely niceness, and SJW inclusiveness, and Millenial triggering…sometimes you need to “red pill” yourself with a dose of reality. You need to read it, but here’s a quote (emphasis mine): “Despite openly reading about all this, many will still think it is impossible for something like this to happen in their country. What they fail to understand is that Iran is an example of exactly how successful this meticulous grab for power can be.” In other words, “yes, it can happen here”.
Who you gonna call? If you’re an actor, apparently you call this new-age spiritualist. She’s the exclusive exorcist to the Hollywood elite. Matthew 12:26 “And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?” Either she’s really doing what she claims, or she’s outright lying. Either way, it’s a scam: if she’s actually performing these “miracles”, you can bet there’s a supernatural deception at work. (For an example of what happens when people not in league with the devil try to cast out demons, look up the seven sons of Sceva in Acts.)
I found this news item about the US Space Command and the National Space Defense Center interesting. I mention something very similar in my upcoming novel Alien Outpost. If you’ve ever researched the supposed “secret space program”, you’ll understand why this National Space Defense Center is significant. Even though a news article was allowed to be written about it, this is a secretive unit. “‘This is not an Air Force unit,’ Brost explained. ‘It’s not really even a Department of Defense unit.’
Recent research shows that among Generation Z, the rate of atheism is double that of the adult US population. Even though I happen to think atheism is foolish, a whole lot of younger people tend to see it differently. This religion of atheism (as I see it) is rapidly growing among youth. Why is this? I think the key is the “all-out embrace of relativism” the article mentions. If everything is relative, there are no absolutes. When there are no absolutes…nothing matters.
“Human/AI hybrids and gene editing are going to change mankind in a big way” claims the headline of this article. I agree. I talked about hybrids replacing normal humans as well. This news item shows how the concept of human-robot hybrids is becoming more mainstream. This totally serious article mentions human-AI neural interfaces as well as the very real possibility of AIs replacing humans in the labor force.
This article take the AI worker theme in a different direction, with the scenario of AI “co-workers”. “At the very least, finding ways to use AI as a tool rather than a replacement will keep human workers relevant.” That’s comforting. But the article does make clear that “not all jobs will survive the rise of AI”.
Ghostbusters for Aliens
Another ABC report related to UFOs – this time about an independent paranormal/UFO investigator who believes the 37th parallel is a sort of “highway” for UFOs. It’s a short but interesting interview. (Regarding the aliens or demons question – I wonder if Chuck Zukowski sees aliens as possible supernatural entities or real flesh-and-blood creatures.)
