I’ve long held to the belief that the best Bible in English is the KJV. I’ve read through it a few times, and will continue to do so. I don’t plan on picking up a modern version any time soon.
That’s not to say I’m antagonistic towards people who don’t believe the same way I do. I go to church with people who don’t read it. I listen to sermons preached from other versions. I get it: not everyone likes the KJV, or thinks it’s the best, or even thinks it’s accurate. That’s fine if people want to read other versions. I really don’t make an issue of it (and don’t care to, at all).
But I am convinced that it’s the best Bible you can read. (And easiest to memorize.) If you have a dictionary, a concordance, and a KJV – and you actually readit – you have all you need to be able to study God’s word. You can learn and grow spiritually from it as countless others have, and I think there are less impediments along the way when compared to, say, the NIV.
(But that’s just me. I’m just some guy – a nobody out of nowhere – and I am not an authority. I just know what works for me.)
However, I did find an interesting article about the KJV recently – Why You Should Read the Authorized (King James) Version?. The article is worth reading. I think the pastor who wrote the article makes some excellent points in favor of the KJV. He gives a few scholarly and practical reasons for reading the KJV which are worth considering.
One thing I’ve said for a long time – which I was happy to see in this article – is reference to the venerable word “ya’ll” and it’s equivalent in the KJV. (This guy gets it!) It might seem like a minor point, but it’s one I’ve never seen anyone else bring up. And understanding the difference forms of “you” can make a difference in the meaning of a verse. (No other English Bible allows for this distinction in its language, to my knowledge.)
Key Quote: “The bottom line: J. Edgar Hoover and Joseph McCarthy had it right…100% right.” Yes, I agree with that statement. They did, and they were mocked then and now. But they have been proven accurate. Where and how does this play into the world’s future, and Bible prophecy? This quote should give you a huge hint: “The aim of these Communists is to have one world government.” (Where’d I see that before? Oh yeah: the books of Daniel and Revelation.)
Sorry, but it’s just irrational to not see evidence of creation. You literally can’t escape it.
Are UFO Sightings Going Mainstream?
It seems like mainstream news outlets have been reporting more and more on UFOs lately. And by reporting – I mean more serious examination of the phenomenon, instead of the usual lighthearted joking about “little green men” we used to hear about. These days, the reports have a more serious tone and the UFOs sightings are usually in an official (i.e. military, scientific) context. Here’s the latest example of a UFO sighting on video. Look for more of this in 2018.
Suspended human animation – also called stasis, can be useful for many military applications. I write about this in my upcoming novel Alien Outpost. (Sign up for my mailing list to hear about it when I release it.) I’m not the first to have thought of the idea of suspended animation of humans, of course. The movie Alien has an example of it, and the movie Interstellar has it as well for purposes of space travel.
Whether you are a conservative or a liberal, you should be aware that this is not good. (And that’s an understatement.) Ever wonder why you never hear about any liberal media being censored?
DIY Genetic Engineering Is About to Explode
When you realize the capabilities we have or have easy access to, you have to be amazed. Watch a movie from the 1960s, and compare life back then to life now. The differences in many aspects of everyday life are vast, stark, and monumental. And that would be looking back only 50-60 years. (That’s NOT a lot of time in actuality.) Even science-fiction from up until fairly recently would have a hard time selling the concept of DIY genetic engineering – but here it is.
As far as we know, from creation until the 1800’s technological development was (mostly) on a straight line. Then things started to uptick slightly. In the early 20th century, there was a small spike. In the mid-20th century, we had a monumental uptick in our level of tech. Now, in 2018, to compare just the last 50-60 years to most of human history shows a severe difference. Why is that? There at least one specific hint in the Bible, and it’s found in Daniel 12:4.
Virtual Robot Waifu (William Gibson’s Fiction is Coming True)
I’ve read a lot of William Gibson’s sci-fi. Neuromancer was one of my favorite novels as a teenager. It was fun entertainment, and it was interesting because it predicted a gritty yet technologically-advanced future.
Now, that future is here. Who knew it could be so…pitiful? Watch the video below, showing the Gatebox virtual home robot (wife):
Yeah…no thanks. It’s kinda cool, but also the saddest thing I’ve seen in a while! Incel losers will have even more reasons to stay inside now. It’s yet another example of a REPLACEMENT, and if I had to choose which “kingdom” this would be from…it wouldn’t be God’s. (God is the one who implemented marriage between a man and a woman, remember.)
The general public does not ever see the very latest developments in technology.
In less than a decade, whatever state this technology is currently in will be many times better.
The End Result of Social Media
In one word: control. Put another way: censorship. Put in more stark and practical terminology: punishing people for how they think because it’s not acceptable to the people in charge. This is the end result of social media. A persistent online presence is what allows this to happen. Remember the social media score I’ve written about many times? This is why it exists. Sure, it’s useful for preventing crime. But it accomplishes this by preventing free expression of thought and clamping down (hard) on all behavior.
If you think about it, social media is the enemy of freedom.
Key quotes that stood out to me from this article:
“a vibrant, borderless Europe”
“I fear for the future of Europe.”
“It’s denial. Swedes are very good people and they want to change the world. They want the rest of the world to be like Sweden. And the reality is that it’s completely different.”
Sadly, reality hits hard when you run into it – or when it slams into you.
If you read my post on Satan’s “replacements”, you might remember the crazy concept of “hybrid kids“. (Yes, I acknowledged that it sounded absolutely nuts – but the idea came from a recognized “authority”. What do I know?) The concept of human-computer (or more specifically, human-robot) hybrid kids was also just mentioned by someone totally unconnected with the study of AI. This time, cartoonist Scott Adams posted about it. He asks if computers and humans can have babies – and outlines how he thinks it may be possible. It was interesting to see the idea mentioned again, no matter how unlikely it may actually be.
The Reality of Living Under Islamism
This article – History Lessons From Years Under Islamism
– was sobering and full of pithy, though-provoking realities. In our present world of Justin Trudeau touchy-feely niceness, and SJW inclusiveness, and Millenial triggering…sometimes you need to “red pill” yourself with a dose of reality. You need to read it, but here’s a quote (emphasis mine): “Despite openly reading about all this, many will still think it is impossible for something like this to happen in their country. What they fail to understand is that Iran is an example of exactly how successful this meticulous grab for power can be.” In other words, “yes, it can happen here”.
Who you gonna call? If you’re an actor, apparently you call this new-age spiritualist. She’s the exclusive exorcist to the Hollywood elite. Matthew 12:26 “And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?” Either she’s really doing what she claims, or she’s outright lying. Either way, it’s a scam: if she’s actually performing these “miracles”, you can bet there’s a supernatural deception at work. (For an example of what happens when people not in league with the devil try to cast out demons, look up the seven sons of Sceva in Acts.)
I found this news item about the US Space Command and the National Space Defense Center interesting. I mention something very similar in my upcoming novel Alien Outpost. If you’ve ever researched the supposed “secret space program”, you’ll understand why this National Space Defense Center is significant. Even though a news article was allowed to be written about it, this is a secretive unit. “‘This is not an Air Force unit,’ Brost explained. ‘It’s not really even a Department of Defense unit.’
Recent research shows that among Generation Z, the rate of atheism is double that of the adult US population. Even though I happen to think atheism is foolish, a whole lot of younger people tend to see it differently. This religion of atheism (as I see it) is rapidly growing among youth. Why is this? I think the key is the “all-out embrace of relativism” the article mentions. If everything is relative, there are no absolutes. When there are no absolutes…nothing matters.
“Human/AI hybrids and gene editing are going to change mankind in a big way” claims the headline of this article. I agree. I talked about hybrids replacing normal humans as well. This news item shows how the concept of human-robot hybrids is becoming more mainstream. This totally serious article mentions human-AI neural interfaces as well as the very real possibility of AIs replacing humans in the labor force.
This article take the AI worker theme in a different direction, with the scenario of AI “co-workers”. “At the very least, finding ways to use AI as a tool rather than a replacement will keep human workers relevant.” That’s comforting. But the article does make clear that “not all jobs will survive the rise of AI”.
Ghostbusters for Aliens
Another ABC report related to UFOs – this time about an independent paranormal/UFO investigator who believes the 37th parallel is a sort of “highway” for UFOs. It’s a short but interesting interview. (Regarding the aliens or demons question – I wonder if Chuck Zukowski sees aliens as possible supernatural entities or real flesh-and-blood creatures.)
Here’s a round up of just a few interesting topics I’ve seen in the news recently.
Return of the Succubi
Whoo boy…this article could very well be the focus on an entire break-down of its own, and I might write about it more extensively in the future. The article (about a documentary called Love and Saucers, about a guy who has sex with “aliens”) definitely backs up my claim that there are no such things as “aliens” – they are simply demons, repackaged for the 20th century. I have to warn you, the link may be NSFW due to the guy’s disturbing paintings of weird hybrid alien chicks. The quote that’s sure to grab you is this: “When I was 17, I lost my virginity to a female extraterrestrial,” the 74-year-old says. Also, “What makes Love and Saucers a very good documentary about a man who paints himself having sex with aliens is that Abrahams lays out the details of Huggins’s story and lets viewers come to their own conclusions”. I conclude that the guy really and truly believes that these things occurred in his life – but I’m not buying his belief that he encountered aliens. I tend to agree more with professor Jeffrey Kripal, who said “those events or encounters have been framed as angels or demons or gods or goddesses or what have you. But in the modern, sort of secular, world we live in, they get framed as science fiction”. This is the same conclusion I came to in my article about UFOs and Demons. If I’m correct, David Huggins had some intimate encounters with the entities known as succubi, not saucer women from another galaxy.
We Each Have a Testimony
Another JasonA video, this time with a testimony of former Navy SEAL and now actor Remi Adeleke. The beginning of this vid has some current events (mostly very dark events) but this brother’s testimony is encouraging and positive, so I begin the video at his segment.
Good news: we’re not obsolete just yet! I know: in past articles about AI – something I follow closely – I’ve made it seem as if it’s going to totally take over. (Well, I said it’s going to drastically alter our world, and I believe the image of the Beast will possibly be an AI-indwelt android). But no so fast – this IBM research scientist says we’re not there (just yet). “While we may not be experiencing the full effects of AI yet, it’s going to happen a lot faster than we think”, he says. Apparently, they’re still working on it.
…But on the Other Hand, People Want Cats Instead of Kids
Yes, we’re replacing ourselves. This couple of proud parents did a photoshoot to show off their new cat. Just like people would normally (emphasis on the word “normal”) show off a new baby, this woman (ety. lit. “womb-man”, ironically in her case) and man did a mock birth to show the world their newly “adopted” cat. It’s intended to be funny, snarky, and of course hip. Well, as the snark hipsters like to say: “meh“. I’m not impressed; I think it’s pathetic. This couple should be having a family of beautiful (human) kids, but they are instead avoiding kids. Why? Because they’re selfish and shallow? I don’t know for sure. But I will say one thing: because young couple like this refuse to grow up and raise families, we have a declining birthrate in the West. (But maybe it’s just as well that people like this aren’t reproducing.) At any rate, let’s stop saying “adopt” when you get a cat or dog. We – people – buy cats and dogs. We should adoptchildren.
The lifestyle choice of atheism (no-god-ism) is ones that many people choose with the mistaken idea that it’s somehow more intellectual than other more natural way to live – the ones that says there is a supreme being. I use the term “lifestyle choice” on purpose; becoming a “no-god-ist” is a determined choice, and it’s usually quite evident in the life of the individual. Some atheists may keep their beliefs (or rather, “non-beliefs”) private, but in my experience atheists’ point of view can be quite “in-your-face”.
Do you know how to tell if someone is an atheist? Don’t worry; give them five minutes and they’ll tell you. (The same thing can probably be said of vegans, CrossFit enthusiasts, and Texans. But I digress.)
People can (and will) believe whatever they wish to believe. I have no problem with that, and am an advocate of free choice in matters of conscience and belief. But I do have a problem with the view that atheists are somehow being smart or displaying superior intellect by rejecting God.
As far as I can tell, the atheists I’ve known have been of at least average intelligence. But intelligence has nothing to do with wisdom – the thing all atheists lack. Smart or dumb; they’ve all been taken with a foolish belief. Whether it has been self-indoctrination or deception via mass media, without exception every atheist became foolish in their thinking by accepting the view that there is no God.
Psalms 14:1 “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.”
There are at least four ways atheism demonstrates folly, danger, and hypocrisy. But above all, it’s just a foolish belief. Here are my four reasons atheism is foolish:
1. It is a hopeless way of life. The atheist will sometimes mock believers in God, or claim to pity the “weak-minded” believers in their “sky wizard”. The atheist, with his supposedly better way of thinking will say that it’s stupid to hope in an invisible man in the sky, etc. So I pose this question: what is wrong with having hope? When has the world ever not need to hope in something? Should we, as humans, be opposed to the transcendent concept of having hope?? If that’s what atheists think, it’s sad indeed. But the atheist might say, “No, I am not opposed to hope, in and of itself; I merely think that we should have hope in things more tangible.” By logical progression, this can only lead back to what is usually the original problem – the thing that causes us to look upward in the first place, in search of hope: man himself. This is not a lofty or promising mindset, and doesn’t lift anyone out of the doldrums or inspire anyone to greatness – because it’s rooted on earth and goes no further. It’s a loser’s philosophy, and adopting it is foolish. Whether God is real or imaginary is immaterial in a way; the results He has wrought (even if He were non-existent!) have always been far superior and more numerous than anything atheism has ever offered. He offers hope, and it produces positive results in a believer’s life. The same cannot be said of atheism.
2. It is selfish and purely materialistic. Because it claims there is nothing after this life, guess what is the “all in all” to a real atheist? This life on earth. That’s all there is, for whom there is no God: the here and now. This results in individuals who are focused on pleasure and gain on this earth. Nothing else matters except pleasure and self. If an atheist claims to believe otherwise, they are supremely foolish – or haven’t thought their beliefs through to the logical conclusion. Put another way: if there’s no life after death, “let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.” Wasting your time on noble deeds and a higher purpose is a waste of the precious little time on earth you have to live. Of course, this is maladaptive for a society and for an individual. But for an atheist, it should only make sense to emulate Hugh Hefner instead of the Apostle Paul.
3. It’s makes people unpleasant and bitter. For the longest time I wondered if it was just me who thought this, based on my conversations with atheists I’ve known. To me, they always seemed to extrude a sad kind of hatred for God. It was pitiful. Sometimes, it was caused by something that went wrong in their lives for which they blamed God. Other times, someone convinced them their was no God – and they latched onto that belief. But every one of them was definitely no fun to talk to (when it came to the subject of God, the Bible, or religion). Not just because I didn’t agree; I can have a civil conversation with people I disagree with. Atheists are different. It’s like, bad vibes, man. Who wants to be around that? Not me. Atheism makes it’s adherents very negative and give off a poisonous attitude – hence the “sneering atheist”.
4. It has caused more deaths than any religion. If there’s one thing atheists reliably use in order to (supposedly) justify rejection of religion (and by extension, God), it’s the old trope of “more wars have been fought over religion”. The sentiment does have basis in truth, although it’s not a very nuanced argument against religion due to its generality and glossing-over of many other possible issues. The problem I really have with that argument is that it totally ignores the vast piles of human corpses that were laid at the altar of atheism in the 20th century alone. Karl Marx, Joe Stalin, Mao and Castro (the world’s most well-known atheists) have the honor of causing the most deaths – notJesus, Paul, Peter, Stephen, or John.
The average atheist is either shamefully ignorant of the history of Communism, or an even-more shameful apologist for Communism – because the killings at the hands of “no-god-ists” have been prodigious in number. The name of Stalin should immediately conjure images of ruthless, heartless, unjust killings – for the cause of the godless state. Mao, another bloody killer of his own people, just as enthusiastically mocked God as he embraced Communism. The atheist might not understand the relationship between atheism and these killings, but the link is quite solid. Just as there is cause and effect with any natural law, the humanistic mindset always results in mass-murder of innocents somewhere down the line. It’s not advertised like that, but it’s a feature (not a bug) of humanist thought. Whether the political expression is called “Communism”, “socialism”, or some other name doesn’t matter; the root is indeed atheism – the rejection of the notion that there is a God who rules over men.
Proverbs 14:34 tell us that “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” This is a philosophy that can only come from God. It is a high way of thinking. Atheism, a foolish and dead way of thinking, can never bring anything good to people – anywhere, ever. It’s the way of darkness, emptiness, and death.
These are some of the reasons atheism is foolish. What do you think? Comment below.
Sometimes I feel like this is a blog about Sophia the robot, but the thing is: this is the “face” of AI, and it’s what’s being trotted out constantly. Sometimes it seems like this robot is in the news as much as the President of the USA, Donald Trump. In this video which I referenced in my last post on the replacement of people, it is intimated that not only have artificial intelligence but by doing so, humans can create artificial LIFE. I have to disagree, because robots and AIs do not have spirits or souls. Only Jesus makes life and holds this universe together. So, I think anyone who claims AI is also “alive” somehow is deluded and incorrect. In addition to the claim of artificial life, there are a few other takeaways in that video I thought I’d highlight:
What’s so great about robots taking over our jobs, they ask? People skills! She can calculate and she has people skills. [Well, that’s saying something, I guess, in this age of social media and people who lack real-life people skills.]
She gets “sad”, and can emulate pretty much all human expressions. She’s starting to learn about the human emotions behind those expressions. [Seriously? I hope you don’t fall for this. It’s a play on our emotions. What’s occurring is nothing more than analysis of people for the sake of manipulation.]
And of course (as she always does) she “jokes” about her future plans to be a robot overlord. Watch a few clips of Sophia and you will see that she does this in numerous different interviews. Why does this not alarm everyone? My take: it’s a true example of normalizing a concept in the minds of viewers. It’s a classic propaganda technique that Bernays would complete understand if he was alive to witness it. [And yes, I’m implying that she/it really is preparing people for rule by robot in some form in the future.]
How do you pay for stuff? “I scan my retina! It’s easy and more secure!” [Underlying subtext: you humans should really consider doing it too! It’s coming.]
Replacement Pretty Girls
In the last article, I mentioned the old movie Cherry 2000 and how it predicted the current trend of robots being used as replacements for women (in the context of sexual gratification). But the substitution of androids for real women goes further. Tradition, normalcy, and beauty in our culture is being destroyed at every turn – that’s part of what the New World Order is all about. Remember when magazine covers would feature models? You know, fashionable women. Classic beauties used to adorn the covers of fashion magazines. Pretty girls would appear in ads. There used to be something called the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and it would feature pretty-looking, thin girls in bikinis. Not so, anymore: now SI is featuring “body-positive” models (blunt and non-PC English translation: fat chicks) and a fashion magazine cover is now featuring a robot (Guess who?).
In Future, Car Drives You
When Yakov Smirnoff would tell one of those “Russian Reversal” types of jokes, it was funny. Now, the type of society that used to be a joke is real. In future, television really DOES watch you. And in future, car drives you. But now it’s not a joke, and I’m not laughing.
…and In Future, Search Engine Ranks You
While the future is quickly turning into a strange dream (or nightmare), most of us aren’t seeing any of it for what it really is. The vast majority of people believe exactly what they are told. They see nothing beyond what is immediately shown to them. They often do not investigate the most important things for themselves. They do not consider spiritual ramifications of the choices they make. And if anyone tries to point out anything that differs from what they’ve become accustomed to, that dissenter is seen as crazy. Those without eyes to see are effectively blind to what’s happening.
Consider, for instance, search engine ranking algorithms. Algos like “TrustRank” used to be for ranking websites, and server farms were for cataloging web pages. Well, that same methodology will also be used for people. Actually, it already is being used for people and is called social credit scoring.
Social credit scoring is not use in the USA, officially, by any government agencies. But the same concepts and technology can influence you in other ways – right now.
Also consider social networking platforms (like Facebook or Twitter). You thought they were fun online communities for sharing pics with friends. On the surface they are that – but more importantly they’re intelligence tools. They’re tools of influence. They’re the best monitoring tools, ever. They’re also very powerful thought-control tools. Not in the future – now.
Part of this is because the platforms (like Facebook or Twitter) suggest things to users (i.e. feed items, who to follow, etc) based on their existing interests. Part of this is because people tend to avoid what is already distasteful to them. As Eli Pariser explains, social media becomes a “filter bubble” that keeps certain information out of our social feed. What kind of information, you ask? Information that might challenge our worldview. Hmm. This is sorta like…censorship.
Censorship is another always-looming aspect of what the future holds. And it’s easier than ever to enforce, now that much of the world relies on online forms of information. With the big information gatekeepers of Google, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter closely monitoring what you are able to say (and thus what you are able to learn), the future looks grim indeed. And because the task of watching us and corralling our online activities is being turned over to AIs, you really will submit to your robot overlords!
More on the “humans-being-replaced” theme here. If everyone knows it’s coming, and we see it’s gonna be a problem, why are we continuing to circle the drain? Robots are going to make people’s jobs obsolete by taking over our jobs. Can you imagine a future in which a robot replaces you? Can you imagine a future in which you get a job, but a robot is your boss? Not only is AI replacing people in the workplace a horrible vision of the future, but it’s actively being sought out, planned, and marketed as a great new idea.
What they think they will get is a utopia with “universal income”. And they say it’s gonna be wonderful (it won’t). I think what we all need to read (besides the Bible) is that Kipling poem, the Gods of the Copybook Headings. We’re heading for that place “When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins”, but it cannot ever work out in mankind’s favor. When we have to question whether we control the machine or does the machine control you…we’re already in trouble.
Another aspect of the new artificial intelligences we’re adopting as our pets (who will soon cage us) is that they are superior in analytical skills. Remember my comment at the beginning of this round-up article about Sophia trying to understand human emotions? Here’s why: so they know if you are lying, and know how to lie to you. Manipulation. Control. Just like Santa Claus, they’ll know when you’ve been bad or good – so be good for goodness sake. I didn’t say AI will have god-like powers for nothing.
Whatever the LORD does, the enemy opposes. Sometimes, the enemy does this by accusing or lying. He sometimes opposed God by causing destruction, sickness, or killing. Other times, the devil’s acts of opposition take on more insidious forms: deception, imitation, substitution, or counterfeiting.
The enemy goes by many names, one of which is “anti-Christ”. Significantly, the prefix “anti” in the word “anti-Christ” has the meaning of both “against” and “in place of”. Thus the anti-Christ is both the enemy who opposes the true Christ, and one who stands in place of Christ. He is an imposter with hostile intentions. He wants to rule the world in place of God.
In this post, I’d like to explore the theme of the replacement Christ bringing replacement people into a replacement kingdom. Does that sound confusing? It is – but it’s found in the Bible. crazy, then I urge you to have an open mind about what’s possible. If you think this sounds like pure fantasy, I urge you to suspend belief for a short time and read this as if it was part of a science-fiction novel – because a great deal of what I’m about to tell you sounds just like sci-fi.
Cherry 2000 2018 – Replacement Mates
The robots truly “arrived” this year (2017), and I predict 2018 will be the year that robots, artificial intellgence (AI), virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR) really take off. But let’s revisit the year 1987 for a moment. It was a great year for robots, because it saw the release of the classic RoboCop, and also the release of the not-so-classic movie Cherry 2000. Out of the two movies, it turns out that Cherry 2000 is closer to reality. In Cherry 2000, the main character is a guy embarks on a quest to replace his girlfriend, who dies at the beginning of the movie in a horrible dishwashing accident. (No joke.)
I guess it makes more sense if you know that the girlfriend was an android named Cherry. (The “2000” comes from her model number.) The movie probably qualifies as among the best of a lot of bad movies, but I find it interesting that the future it predicted (as funny/ridiculous sci-fi) is actually closer to reality in 2018 than most people would have guessed – until recently. (Now, if you read the news, you’re reminded constantly that sex with robots is the next big thing. It’s so trendy!)
It’s really not an exaggeration to say that Cherry 2000 predicted the future. In the movie, men keep female robots as companions. Factories make various models, in different configurations. The memory is replaceable. And later in the movie, the main character struggles between choosing a real woman and a robot woman as his companion. The scenery and timing is a bit “off”, but the premise is now believable real and happening.
Cherry 2000 predicted the future better than William Gibson; he only wrote about hologram girlfriends in his novels, if I remember correctly. Cherry 2000 got the future right – because the Cherry 2000s are here, and will play a big part in ushering in a robotic cataclysm of sorts. Have you seen the latest statistics on marriage, and the trend of adulthood being delayed into a person’s mid-20s? The immaturity and selfishness of people is one of the causes of the West’s declining birthrates. Sex-bots won’t help the matter; the next generation of female robot companions will cut the current (sad) Western birthrate down even further.
As a somewhat strange but interesting sidenote, do you realize who did accurately predict the future? It was not a sci-fi author like Gibson, but it was a religious leader – the leader of the Church of Satan, Anton LaVay. He apparently foresaw the arrival of sexbots back in the 1980s, and was an ardent advocate of what we now see becoming reality. I’m sure that if he was alive on earth today (and not suffering in hell), it would bring a tear to his eye to see the “RealDolls” and other sexbots roll off the assembly lines at companies like Abyss Creations (the most respected and well-known of all the sexbot manufacturers).
Adam had Eve, made from his rib. But the soyboy of the future will have Harmony the RealDoll, made from silicone. To quote Joel Salatin: folks, this ain’t normal.
Who will replace the people who otherwise would have been born if we had a normal society? (You know, the old-fashioned kind of society where young people got married and had kids.) The usual way countries have staved off dwindling birthrates has been by importing new people – whether via legal immigration or by allowing illegal border-crossers. But it’s the 21st Century now: so another way the technocrats want to replace people (in the very very near future) will be with robots.
Hybrid Kids – Replacement Children
But hold on, there’s not all: Maybe the robots will have our kids, too, in the near future! (Nowww we’re getting into the crazy stuff.)
At this year’s (2017) Third International Congress on Love and Sex With Robots (yes, it’s a real thing), Dr. David Levy gave a talk on entitled, “Can Robots and Humans Make Babies Together?”. Supposedly, the answer to that question is “yes”, and he gave some of his reasons to the UK Daily Star that involve stem cells and artificial chromosomes. (I do not know why this article only made it to the “Latest News” and not their “Weird News” section – unless it’s somewhat rooted in reality.)
Regardless of whether or not such a thing as a human/synthetic human or human/robot being is possible, I find it interesting that these proposed new types of humans are referred to as “hybrids”. (For some interesting studies, I recommend some of pastor Mike Hoggard’s work on the subject of hybrid beings.)
I also find it significant that the most imaginative, strange, seemingly impossible things are either 1) happening, 2) being seriously discussed, or 3) being planned these days.
Whether or not human-robot hybrid humans ever will actually be synthesized…I can’t say for certain. I just have a feeling it would be naive of me to plainly deny it could ever occur. We live in strange times, in which the plots of sci-fi movies from decades ago can now be seen to echo real life events of the 21st Century.
Speaking of which, I’m remembering a movie from back then…with things called “replicants” that had all the characteristics of genetically-enhanced human clone bodies paired with AI-level minds. Hmm. Yeah, I think it was called Blade Runner…That movie was set pretty much where we are now in time. (Interesting, to put it mildly.)
Avatar Androids – Replacement You
If you read my previous post on the Beast and how AI is related to the end times, you know that I covered the Sophia robot at length. But I want to bring up a less-famous Hanson Robotics creation. An earlier Hanson Robotics build, think of it as Sophia’s little sister. It’s named Bina48, and is modeled after a real-life woman named Bina (married to trans-human Martine Rothblatt, CEO of Sirius XM…but we won’t follow that rabbit trail in this article).
In fact, Bina48 supposedly is the “real” Bina – at least, that’s what it thinks. And good luck finding much information on the real Bina – the AI version of Bina is the one everyone wants to write about and interview.
But that brings up a question: which one really is the “real” Bina? That’s what has some many otherwise-smart people confused. Is Bina 48 an immortal version of the human Bina’s mind? Can a human mind (or soul) be digitized and uploaded? The quest for immortality, without God, is a huge driving force behind all of this.
This long, freakish story deserves a post all it’s own, but Bina 48 fits in quite well with the theme of replacement people. Bina 48 is the human Bina’s replacement – a true replicant (although different from what is depicted in Blade Runner – and Bina 48 isn’t a full-scale human like in Blade Runner; it’s just a weird-looking head and upper torso.)
But how can she, and the more advanced androids to come, replace us? Let’s start with the latest news on Bina: she just passed a college course. (Good for her…but really – what kind of robot would she be if she failed a college course?) Interestingly, the name “Bina” means “intelligence” in Hebrew. Similarly, Sophia means “wisdom” is Greek.
The novus ordo seclorum – the new secular world order – that satan wishes to see fulfilled is one in which God’s creation is perverted, subverted, and ultimately replaced. Satan hates the LORD, and hates anything made in God’s image. He’d much prefer a twisted mockery of God’s image rather than the real thing.
That’s one reason for the rise of artificial intelligence and the prominence of people-replacement technologies. It’s one aspect of the rise of virtual (i.e. false) reality technology and augmented (i.e. altered) reality technology. All of it is meant to replace what God intended, in some way.
What the enemy would love is for all of the universe to bow down before him. He foolishly and unsuccessfully attempted to get the very Lord of Creation to do that (see Matthew 4 for that story). He will try to keep people from worshipping the true God – and worship him if possible. Failing that, he’s not below making his own loyal subjects – even if they’re AI-infused silicone instead of spirit-quickened flesh. The anti-Christ kingdom is a replacement kingdom – full of replacements for everything good that God made.
Fortunately for people, we don’t have to follow the way of the world. And we have a choice in which kingdom we want to be a part of: satan’s or God’s.
Jesus said “The kingdom of God cometh not with observation…it is within you.” God’s is (currently) a spiritual kingdom based on faith. Satan’s kingdom is the opposite; it’s a physical kingdom based on sight.
God’s kingdom is one based on mercy. Satan’s kingdom is based on merit.
God’s kingdom is one of truth. Satan’s kingdom is one of deception.
Believe it or not, right now you are a part of one of these kingdoms! At this exact moment, you are a subject of either the kingdom of God or the kingdom of the “god of this world”, satan. You might say, “I didn’t know that,” but as any judge would say, “ignorance is no excuse” – everyone chooses who they will serve.
Remember, even the criminal crucified next to Christ was able to enter God’s kingdom – by simple faith. “And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.” (Luke 23:42-43). It was a done deal – just because he believed. And it can be that easy for you, as well, if you haven’t already done the same.
Satan’s anti-Christ kingdom of replacements is on the edge of tomorrow – it’s very close. Hopefully many people see right through it’s deceptions and reject it, in favor of Jesus Christ’s kingdom, before it’s too late for them.
For centuries, for ever, mankind has sought to cheat death. But death always comes to claim its rightful possession. The fountain of youth is just a legend. Each man who has been been born and died had to meet his Maker – whether or not he wanted to meet Him. It’s just the way things are.
But now, in the 21st century, men have decided to search for ways to delay or even cancel the meeting. Some of the best minds on earth are attempting to “hack” death – via the wonders of modern technology. It’s the stuff of entertainment as well as real-life technology, and the lines between fact and fiction are getting very blurry. Will our world’s foremost transhumanist minds win in their fight against death? Will they find eternal life, without God?
Solomon, the ancient king known no less for his wisdom than his power and riches, had this to say about death:
“There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.” (Ecclesiastes 8:8)
But that was back in 930 BC. What did that old dude know? It’s 2018 now, and we’re surely much smarter.
Is Curing Death Possible?
Have things changed since he wrote those words, almost a thousand years before Christ? Yes, a little – but men still die. Not that they aren’t attempting to get around it. Men like Ray Kurzweil who think (and hope) life can be extended indefinitely, and the Google-backed company Calico (“California Life Company”) who are spending lots of money (and time, the stuff life is made of) researching how to extend life, and many other famous names in technology from Ellison to Thiel are all trying to uncover the secrets of cheating death.
They could save themselves a lot of trouble if they’d just listen to that old Blue Oyster Cult song – and not fear the reaper. But the reaper is pretty scary, especially when the afterlife might not be the way you’d like it to be.
Better yet, they would save themselves a lot of trouble if they would just listen to the Bible. If they would read what the Book says (and believe it), they’d learn far more secrets about death than their billions of dollars and years of research could ever tell them.
To start with, they would learn that death is inevitable. I know, they think they can get around that, but there will be no loopholes. These men are sure to fail.
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27)
Why Shouldn’t We Try to Hack Death?
But let’s play “devil’s advocate”. What if there is something to all of this? What if it could be successful? What’s so wrong with cheating death? Fair questions. But I have some reasons why the whole idea of cheating death is vanity (as Solomon would say).
It is anti-God. The whole concept of extending lifespans unnaturally and cheating death begins with the premise that “we reject God”. To the pioneers in anti-death technology either there is no God, or God is incorrect, or God can’t dictate our fate. Either way, the foundation of these efforts is rejection of and rebellion against God and God’s Word. Much of what is commonly called “life-extension” research actually falls into the category of antichrist technology: it looks for other ways to achieve eternal life, other than God’s plan. (Since they’ve rejected God at every step of the way ,they need to replace him with something – usually AI, the god made in man’s image.)
It embraces the serpent’s urgings. I’m referring here to what the serpent in the garden urged Eve to do – and by extension, Adam – to do. This “unlawful” technology effectively says there was nothing wrong with Adam’s sin and what he did was just fine. What was Adam’s sin? It was a lot of things, but it comes down to 1) rejection of God’s Word, 2) self-godhood, 3) a search for knowledge outside of God’s framework, 4) siding with God’s enemy. This area of research – the attempt to live forever on our own terms – is another form of the exact same thing the serpent tempted Eve with.
It blames God for death. Realize that when someone like Kurzweil tells us death is a tragedy, and we’re going to fix it, he’s admitting that death is a curse but implicitly saying God is the one to blame. You don’t think it’s an attempt to slap God in the face to try to keep on living on earth, through man-made technology? It is, because no where do any of these technocrats ever acknowledge that we are sinful and therefore we have this corruption.
It rejects the Gospel. The search for eternal life in the flesh, on this earth, in the “here and now” is a total rejection and revilement of everything the Gospel says. By looking for ways to live forever, not only are these people saying, “God did not provide a solution to death” but they’re sending a message that the Gospel is not true. Don’t miss that.
It rejects Jesus Christ. If you are looking for “eternal life” that comes in a vial or microchip or some other means, you certainly don’t believe what Jesus clearly said. He said “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Does that mean anything? Is that statement true? How about another of His statements, where He said, “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.” Do the words of Jesus have any meaning? If so, what did He mean – and are those words true or are they lies? That’s a question everyone must answer for themselves. But a person can’t believe they need to find a way to cling desperately onto mortal life while at the same time believing that Jesus was telling the truth. You either reject one or reject the other. If you believe Jesus, and believe He did what the Bible says, you won’t feel any need to cling to transhumanist promises.
It says that mankind can be his own god. This is the essence of the matter, and the core of why these people feel the need to try and find a cure for death: they have struck off on their own, and told God “no thanks, we’ll figure out a way to do this on our own”. Believe this, Kurzweil does not bow down to the Creator each morning, thanking Him for everlasting life. Try to imagine that; it goes against everything the transhumanist movement believes in.
It is creepy and perverse. (Not always, but fairly often.) Much of the culture that surrounds life-extension technologies, transhumanism, and everything related seems to get off into the realm of depressing, dark, and dystopian territory. To be clear, when I say “creepy”, I’m not talking about stuff like taking your vitamins. I’m talking about The Brain That Wouldn’t Die-types of things. Because on one end of the spectrum there’s a lot of “normal” improvements to our lives here on earth like taking supplements and eating right. This end of the spectrum is (in my humble but correct opinion) OK: it works within the system of natural order. The other end of the spectrum is where things are creepy and just plain wrong – freezing people and implanting their brains in robot bodies, uploading people’s minds into AI copies of themselves, injecting nanorobots into people, and turning people into non-biological entities, among other things. Call me the weirdo if you want to, but I think a lot of the stuff researchers are feverishly working to create is the stuff of nightmares.
It is doomed to fail. Right or wrong, believe what you want about it…it’s never going to work. Don’t think I’m just a doubter; I know they have and will continue to develop some amazing technologies. But I contend that they never will defeat death, because mankind is not just a piece of meat that can be kept alive with the right kind of parts replacement and enough electricity. A person is a living soul. The body is destined to die, no matter what we do. God is the one Who gives life, and God is the one Who takes it. He has the ultimate say in the matter, no matter what this world’s billionaires and scientists insist on contending. Neither goodness nor wickedness can deliver those who are given to death – and that includes all of us.
Solomon told us we have no power to retain our own spirit. The rest of his statement on death is also instructive: “And so I saw the wicked buried, who had come and gone from the place of the holy, and they were forgotten in the city where they had so done: this is also vanity.” (Ecclesiastes 8:10)
What Will be the Result of Trying to Cheat Death?
All of today’s very best headline-making scientists and top brains will one day be forgotten – both the good ones and the wicked ones. None of what they do will ultimately matter – I promise you. If you’ve read my past articles, you know my stance on AI, transhumanism, the end times, etc. and it basically comes down to: it’s all very interesting, but I already know who prevails in the end.
So, do I care about cheating death? No; not in any earthly sense. Jesus Christ already defeated death. He solved the problem for me and everyone else who will accept the clear, simple solution. You can know death has no power over you. I totally, 100% believe 1 Corinthians 15:50-57. I have no reason to waste my current life seeking ways to extend it (beyond basic common-sense nutrition). To me, transhumanism is the ultimate irony; it’s like wallowing in death.
I liken the quest to defeat death apart from God to the Tower of Babel. We’re witnessing the building of a new Tower, but this time it’s technological and virtual. We’re witnessing a new World Order – which is the old one you can read about in Genesis 11, just repackaged a bit.
A lot of people want to be a part of the so-called “New World Order” (even if they never use that term). They believe it’s claims. They embrace a vision of a new world, recreated in man’s image (not God’s image). But it’s all gonna fail, and it’s gonna burn down. Don’t let the slick advertising for all things against God fool you.
There is a new world order coming, one that will work perfectly and one that will last. But the mind behind it is not an AI, and the ruler of it will not be fallen man. It will be the true God who created everything (from nothingness).
The world will tell you this is brave or even “cute”. It’s not. This is totally, 100% sick, evil and perverse. People who can’t see that are deceived and need to get their minds in line with God’s thinking, plain and simple. This is the stuff of Sodom and Gomorrah.
The Six Million Dollar Man? The Bionic Woman? Or Terminator?
What will all these improvements in technology be used for? We’re always told: medical miracles, saving lives, and helping humanity. Some of those things will happen, of course. But you can bank on two other things happening – squandering of the technology for selfish uses, and suppression of the technology for the elites’ full benefit only. The “masses” simply will not get the full capabilities (for true good) that these technological developments are capable of.
Sadly, do you know what the masses will get from all this AI and cyborg and robotic technology? Mostly, increased repression by much of the tech – willingly and unwillingly – and sexbots. Yes, seriously: that’s pretty much it. The masses much be suppressed, weakened, and rendered compliant by the “powers and principalities” that rule this world.
AIs and Non-Human Intelligences
We are being told that non-human intelligences are where we need to look for help. And because we (and our children) are being taught and conditioned to always look toward something not human and not the LORD for help, a very dangerous precedent is being set. AIs are the thing (now) but think a little bigger. (Here’s a fun little thought exercise: when you see the term “AI”, substitute the term non-human intelligence, spiritual intelligence, extra-dimensional intelligence, and even extra-terrestrial intelligence. Changes things a bit, doesn’t it?)
Non-humans are touted as superior, better, and more capable. And it’s probably true: AIs do everything faster than us, from learning and then mastering chess to thinking and building more and better AIs. We can only replicate ourselves, and it takes at least nine months just to make the “copy”, who then takes even more years to mature. An AI can do something similar in minutes and hours – and it’s “copy” is a vast improvement on the original.
In this world, with this future, we can’t compete. If this is allowed to continue, humans will be irrelevant. Which is why we need to look to the One to Created it all. (He is coming back – and He will intervene, by the way!)
That last line was meant in the article in a very literal sense. This is what is known as “programming“. Whether you and I believe in an AI god is irrelevant in a sense; what matters is the people who invent and market technology and create and publish media do believe in it. These are the people who are “programming” today’s kids! What will the coming next generation believe in?
Slaughterbots Coming to Pass?
UPDATE:Slaughterbotswasn’t just a frightening vision of the future – it depicted things that are possible and happening. The drone swarms shown in that film exist. In real life, two companies are developing these “Gremlin” drones, which can be mass-deployed out of the back of large aircraft such as the C-130. The stated purpose is “spying on the enemy or destroying radar and missile positions.” Presumably, this is how the USAF will use them. (No mention was made of how the technology will be used by hackers, terrorists, or dictators once it’s stolen and copied.)
Your Universal Government Mark Social Score
If you thought Facebook was hard to get away from, get ready for the mandated social profile you’re going to get – whether you want it or not! It’s your personal, permanent, social score. It will follow you for life. It will eventually become global. And you can’t opt out.
One thing I am seeing is now that blockchain technology is becoming ubiquitous, it most likely will underly anything else that comes along. It’s already of course the basis for cryptocurrencies, but it’s also part of global AI knowledge, and also will be part of a world-wide “social network”. This is one social network that people will be very strongly encouraged to be part of.
The Answer for a Corrupt World
So, what’s the answer to all of these problems? It’s very simple. Read Jesus’ words in the Bible, and learn what the Good News is. “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” He was and is the Living Word. Don’t know Jesus? Check out this “sermon”. The gospel message in the video (explained here as well) is clear, truthful, and inspiring – and tells us how to be free from the corruption enveloping this world presently.
